Job description:
Iguan Systems LLC is seeking a Senior Javascript Developer with at least 3 year of expert-level javascript development experience. The candidate we are looking for should have an extensive knowledge of object-oriented JavaScript development on high traffic websites. It is strongly preferred that the candidate have previous experience with a server-side technology. The candidate should be an advocate of JavaScript best practices and web standards, and have a passion to keep learning the latest technologies.
Job responsibilities
- Stay up to speed on new and emerging front-end and back-end technologies
- Maintaining and improving existing platforms
- Testing and staying current for project releases
- Manage project upgrades, integrations, adhere to best practices
- Manage development and work closely with developers, project managers, and product owners to ensure deadlines are met
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of Javascript experience in Web development (Node JS, React JS, Angular...)
- Coding in JavaScript concerning cross-browser compatibility
- Implementing interactive JavaScript applications
- Integrating JavaScript with PHP / XML RPC / JSON RPC back ends
- Unit testing JavaScript code
- Collaboration with other developers
- Good English written, verbal and communication skills
- Ability to follow coding standards and design robust applications using best practices
- Experience in creating rich JavaScript applications
- Experience in developing solutions for a Cross-browser audience
