Iguan Systems LLC is seeking a highly motivated, resourceful front-end developer to join its creative team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience writing clean, semantic, valid code, with strict adherence to web standards. Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate with a team, and a problem-solving mentality are essential. Above all else, you must love the web, and take pride in developing high-quality work, in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
3+ years of HTML and CSS development
Ability to hand-code static markup and CSS
Thorough knowledge of cross-browser compatibility
Understanding of best practices for page speed and performance
Proficiency with slicing creative assets from Photoshop designs
1+ years experience with Git, or other version control systems
Skills:
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and utilization with graceful degradation in unsupportive browsers
Experience working with responsive designs
JavaScript/JQuery experience
Knowledge of Angular JS, React JS is a big plus
Familiarity with back-end languages such as Java, JSP, PHP
